It enables users to create any kind of web content (Flash websites, MySpace layouts, widgets, presentations, page flip books, banners) with a simple drag and drop interface and publish that content anywhere they want.

The company has received favorable reviews online and in blogsphere.

History

Founded in 2006 by Avishai Abrahami, Nadav Abrahami and Giora Kaplan, Wix launched in open beta in June 2008.

Features

In October 2008, Wix raised additional funds and launched its new Premium Upgrade features, allowing users to use their own domain, remove Wix branding, and add additional storage and bandwidth.

May 26 2010, Wix added a beta HTML widget because Wix is Flash Based HTML is harder to add, as well as security risks.
